My wife is 5’2” 115lbs. Most rifles are tough for her to handle well. And lets face it, .300blk while cool as shit, is expensive compared to 9mm, and .45acp is naturally subsonic for the same payload as .300blk anyway. She does very very well with PCCs.

I guess what I’m saying is they’re economical, fun, and another tool in the toolbox. I don’t get the snobbery.

>>
>>61653084
I dunno man, I do pretty well, but it all adds up. Blast a few thousand rounds in a year and you’ve got enough savings for something else that's fun. After two years the gun has paid for itself when compared to something else.
>>
>>61652441
the day they make a .22wmr with a 100 round stick mag, is the day PCCs become worth a damn.
>>
>>61652957
Agreed. They serve a role and they're fun. Plus
PCCs/PDWs are basically perfect for women.
>>
>>61653115
The great thing about those old stocks is they balance just right so you can shoot one handed.
>>
>>61652482
Guns can be fun you know. Not everything is for your John Wick fantasy where you deal with armored opponents (who you will die to because you’re probably fat and unskilled)
>>
>>61653564

anyone own/shot one of these? I've been reading up on them and they seem neat
>>
>>61653919
Fun is entirely subjective. For example, I find AR-15s cripplingly boring with their nonexistent recoil and flat shooting round.
>>
>>61654124
I've got one and have friends with them too only issue we've had was one came with the firing pin covered in grease and it wouldn't work until it was cleaned, but besides that they run great on oem glock mags
>>
>>61654119
Cheapest .300 i can find is S&B 124gr $0.65/round
>>
>>61654309
nice. I've been reading up on them and am thinking about grabbing one if they ever come back in stock. do they seem accurate?
>>
>>61654425
About as accurate as all the other pcc ive tried. I've got a ap5, cmmg banshee with endo mags and one of these and it's got a bit more bounce when mag dumping but nothing terrible considering how light it is. It's definitely the best option for the price just make sure to get the sb brace and not that shit ass blade bullshit gen 2 was coming with
>>
>>61653919
A shotgun is more fun than all three. Now post guns or fuck off faggot.

What is it like to shoot? 9 hole said the recoil is significant because the reciprocating part is heavy in an otherwise light rifle. But it puts you right back on target or something to that effect.
>>
>>61655436
for my first firearm, I found it to be INCREDIBLY easy to shoot. Smooth, not much recoil at all. Can't say much about "back on target" as I am noob and slow.

good to know, thanks anon
>endo mags
how do these work for you? I'm trying to decide on a 9mm upper or separate PCC and I like the idea of these if I were to go with the upper. I've heard about the ejector being in the mag, but do they seem reliable?
>>
I really love mp5s, but here an sp5 costs 3k €, an ex FA mp5 around 3.5k and a turkish mke clone is around 1.5k to 2k. Even store owners have warned me about the turkish clones as they have received a lot of RMA request since they seem to have spotty QC.
Should I splurge for an sp5 or just get a plinker like the PMX? My local gun shop has a deal on the pmx for 1100€ with 4 mags but I have heard that since it's a straight blowback the recoil impulse is umpleasant.
>>
>>61656881
I really like my ap5 since it's a soft shooter but the manual of arms is outdated and yeah I heard there's a shit ton of QC issues (I think I got lucky with mine). I have a kp9 too, which is direct blowback, and yeah I can't go back to it after shooting my ap5. The mp5 is also just a better suppressor host if you ever want to get a suppressor. If you REALLY like it, going with the sp5 is the safest choice, even if someone with a flux raider can probably mag dump your ass by the time you finish a reload lol.
>>
>>61655568
I've never had an issue with mine and I've used it with steel and brass 115g, 147g hiteck, and 147g federal hst. Make sure you get the correct ones though since the banshee has an ejector already.

A fullsize turkish clone ap5 might be ok, clean it real good and run it wet, change out the extractor/ejector if it jams and it might be better. My ap5-m (mp5k) is dogshit. Im going to try it for the third time soon with even hotter and better 124grain and trying it REALLY lubed, ive already changed the extraction stuff and it still jammed allot.

>>
>>61659149
I've got the regular ap5 and have only had minor problems with the mke mags. It made it to almost 2k rounds suppressed without cleaning or lube before it started to ftf sometimes and stripping it down and cleaning it real good fixed that
>>
>>61659169
I've got a henry modelx in 38/357 that I run a wolfman on and it's a great time you won't be disappointed
>>
>>61659435
Nice, I read even the ap5-p is better than this batch of ap5-m ones. Shit I gotta get this thing running smooth because it is the greatest when it does work. My problems are strictly failure to eject so I hope I can just break it in.
>>
>>61659477
Replace the ejector lever with a new designed one and replace the spring. It will run great with no issues after, I do this to all the AP5s

9mm SBR < 12 ga. SBS
>>
>>61656881
My full size mke has never had a single malfunction, probably 400-500 rounds. But also, I use good ammo. I'm a tool so I literally bought MKE 9mm NATO spec, I will shoot other 9mm through it but its mostly had MKE ammo. Don't clean the gun much but I do clean it.

It's just a simple and reliable platform, I built a g3 from a parts kit too and even that thing works, not perfectly but it does work. Extractor springs are the worst thing, I tend to fuck them up installing them and have to do 2-3 attempts. Never have needed to replace them on the MKE yet, it comes with a strong g3 style spring.
>>
>>61659477
My diagnosis is, try the extractor spring. But note its easy to fuck them up while installing so buy a few before trying. Get the g3 ones, not the shitty copper trash. Never needed to change it on my ap5 but it fixed FTE on my g3 build.
>>
>>61675577
Test it and report back
>>
>>61675649
Actually, I wonder if the 9mm ones are weaker and thus easier to install? Maybe they are better, then. The $10 German HK made 9mm extractor springs would be fine im sure.

All I've heard is most of them are shit and won't run. MP5 clone is the meta now. At worst the MKEs need a few small parts replaced to get running. PTRs same way, and SP5s are generally GTG.

Nevermind, I'm retarded. He says on the page itself that he'd "convert the fire control group or swap in the USC controls". In that case, should I just send in my current 3-position with the FCG removed? I'm worried he'll just trash the OG FCG if I request he swap in the USC FCG instead of giving it back.

You could ask him, because I sure as hell don't know
