Thread on one the greatest OVAs of the 80s?Did anyone here ever pick up the continuation manga that Hirano penned? It's around in comic book form like a lot of the early North American manga releases.

>>22634207I read some of the Iczer comic released by Antartic Press, and it was pretty cool. Shame that it was unfinished. Like most OVAs of this era (MD Geist, Gall Force, Megazone 23), it has some cool lore that goes skin deep. I've considered writing a fanfic just to explore Iczer lore. There's another Iczer manga which was drawn by Aran Rei for the Lemon People special (it doesn't have porn in it, don't worry), and it's full-colour and has plenty of mecha fighting among a dark, snowy cityscape. I've always found it funny that the Earth army ship looks like a toy, but all in gray.
