Only now got to watch the latter half of the EOJ episode and, wow, they really hammered in the plot twists, huh?I am torn on the length of the episode. On the one hoof, they really dragged the episode out by repeating the same talking points over and over. Some plot points were spoken aloud upwards of three times. This is so unnecessary. Turnabout Storm was much cleaner and more concise in this regard. I feel like you could cut away 25% of the episode and nothing would change.On the other hoof, the slow drag really does make the twists feel more impactful. It's a legitimate way to make the sudden revelations hit like a train. I keep being impressed by how emotional and compelling the series can be.

I kind of realize they missed an opportunity to have a breakdown with Diamond Tiara, after she was caught touching the body and the blood was revealed to be "still" on her hooves, she could have had a real panic attack, screaming "get it off" nonstop, only starting to calm down when Silver Spoon holds her and calmly reassures her that the blood is gone and it's normal for there to be some residue even when it's washed off and it will eventually wear off.
