But content is filmed in fisheye. But if you convert a fisheye footage to equirectangular at the same resolution, wouldnt you lose quality because the larger higher resolution center is becoming smaller and lower resolution, and the edges vice versa? So it sounds like you'd have to increase the resolution, which raises bit/rate file size. So the thinking is release in fisheye and convert it to equirectangular at playback. And there's some other downsides like blocking and wasted black space, I see that now. Did I fuck this up somewhere?
