LOCK HER UP!
I can't believe that they managed to make Lespia in the DLC more unlikable than Rumburg in the main campaign. However it sure is sweet to completely fuck them over and take ALL their gas and ALL their gold shares.
Not playing until they fix Rayne's portrait

>>1740718don't need to simulate it, it's comically easy to win the war if you're not a total retard, no matter how trendy it has become for ziggers to support Rumburg once they realised it was a parallel of their shitty AIDS infested country

Anyway did anyone find the constitution change for Rizia kind of a let-down compared to Sordland? I've only done it once so don't know if I dodged it somehow but I expected to have to compromise with the leader of the assembly and the nobility to not lead into civil war but all that happened was I told Sazon what I wanted. Then nothing until a turn later when I signed it everyone said "yay democracy" and then it was pretty much game over you're a British style constitutional monarchy now.

>>1740837Yes.
>>1740757>>1740837Lespia are still greedy fuckheads with Sordland, and you NEED to fund coal in Lorren and the L1 to get proper use out of them.
>introduce war minigame>but hate war and peace is better>you can get +6 energy from fucking over Lespia out of gas>AND +5 budget from nationalizing RRG, again, fucking Lespia out of a spy
>>1740793Rizia has been a disappointment overall. I democratized but killed Manus and the game never gave me an option to adopt a constitution. There aren't any unique paths you can take, no political goals since you are already a king. And nothing stops you from ignoring Pales and Zille, in fact if you go to reclaim them you get couped for some reason. Speaking of coup, it's never foreshadowed or justified in any way, same goes for revolution that only exists in two decisions and the people who come to power after revolution are literal who's with no portrait or screen time.

Any one know a good tutorial for the war mechanic?
What decrees get you called a commie? Should I just base it all on my advisors view? Can you investigate SO to get Rusty and still ally them?
>>1741450The in game tutorial explains everything. Here's an entire video on it. But if you're a huge guy, here's the skinny - "Health" is org, a de-orged defending unit will move to an open tile, if it's body-blocked, it's dead. A de-orged attacking unit will stay in place, and you can just overrun it. Damage to health is decided by a simple Attack vs. Defense stat check. Plus terrain modifiers. The Support stat determines a unit's contribution to the battle. If they are assisting an attack, it gets added to attack, the same goes for defense.Total Attack - total Defense -> Org damage to the attack or the defender, whichever was bigger. To participate in a battle the unit has to either border the attacker, or defender.Airstrike stuns a unit, preventing them from supporting or attacking, and removes their defense.Cities are units, too.At the start of every round, all units that are entrenched (you double clicked a unit, probably by accident) or on the supply line regain 1 org. This is all extremely simple.Advanced: you can interrupt an enemy's supporting action by attacking the supporting unit. You might take damage, but another fight will succeed.

Has anyone succeeded in getting Hegel to offer making you the unquestioned dictator of Rizia?
>>1741903Tried doing a commie run. It never went anywhere besides some dialogue choices like telling Sal religion is the opium of the masses or that conversation with Hegel (which also doesn't go anywhere). You can't abolish the monarchy let alone turn Rizia communist and I didn't even get that "Red King" title many were talking about even when in the files my commie points where higher than my reformist points. Looks a lot like cut content to me. A shame, really.

Now, under the tutelage of Beatrice and GRACE, the political system of Sordland will no longer produce Solls and Raynes but instead be an extension Livingstone lineage. The victory of Rumburg will soon be finalized once the scoundrel Rayne is caught and brought to justice, the coward is believed to have fled into Wehlen or Valgsland, but no country in the world can deny the slain Rumburgians and Bludian people their right to be avenged! I hope Galmland DLC spends most of its time in the Revolution phase, and you have to actually participate in war, instead of being punished for it.
>>1742606A rare stroke of genius on Petr's part.
>>1742356No.
>>1740385Is it possible to start a world war? And what nation do I have to to play if it is?
Does expanding the military bite me in the ass if I go full democratic as Rizia? I want to do a sort of hawkish neocon run where I refuse to put up with Valen's bullshit, but I'm not sure if it won't just end with me getting couped by the army in the end.
>>1743154you can start a war between superpowers as sordland via joining not NATO/not the Warsaw Pact and still warring rumburgbut since it's the cold war they just nuke your ass into MAD
>>1743188Expanding military intimidates Wehlen in the negotiations, making him more likely to give up Zillie. But note that your stockpile and manpower pool also influences your power projection. You getting couped depends on you not banning provincial police and levies, upsetting the Azaros by making her son not the heir, if you went that route, and didn't appease Azaros much, and not establishing House of Lords, and not consneeding things in a public discussion. OR you decide to execute Rico or Lucita, if you imprisoned them. Dumbass.

Anyone know what the difference is between choosing Lucita or the Golden Guard to investigate the Zille incident? Also, why doesn't the Golden Guard do anything when you are being cooped? Are they in on it or are they just coincidentally killed off in every one?
>>1743813>cooped*Couped
>>1743813If you are being couped, means Golden Guard is outnumbered. They are just 12 guys or one division, if you funded Titus.Choosing Lucita probably pleases Azaro, but the investigation always dead ends.Titus will always find the real culprit. If you cooperate, this pleases Wehlen, but you can't blackmail Lespia to give you Rusty (which boosts RRG to +5, if you nationalize), and if you try to frame Rico, Wehlen will blab about it, and you're fucked. If you choose to go to war, you blackmail Lespia to cut support for Pales and veto any sanctions against you.
>>1743863>Choosing Lucita probably pleases Azaro, but the investigation always dead ends.In my experiance Lucita discovers that an agent of Lespia does it, I used that to get info out of Alvarez about Rusty and nationalized his company.
>>1743902I suppose if you tell to focus on Zillie, when she offers to investigate Pales. But expanding Golden Guard gives ticking authority, as well as a high defense unit. (4-2-4-2)>Azaro Elites (4-4-2-2) same as Marines>Sazon Levy (4-2-2-4)>Tank (2-4-4-2)>Mech Infantry (2-2-2-3)>Foot Infantry (2-2-2-1)>Militia (1-1-1-1)>Mountaineer (1-2-2-2) + (0-2-2-1) from mountain tile (all others get (0-1-1-0)), a -2 incoming Attack, and a block for a turn, if a vehicle
>>1743791The devs couldn't figure out how to import your Rayne's custom appearance from the main game over to Rizia, so your Rayne will always have the default look.

>>1743982Interesting, thank you for the info.
>>1743902In every run Ive done so far with Lucita, she has never once found them, no matter if i change focus to Pales or keep on Zilles (this is for when I go to war, so maybe when you stay at peace she can)
>>1744108>(this is for when I go to war, so maybe when you stay at peace she can)I've only done peaceful runs so far so that might be it.
>>1744060>>1744084Having Vina marry Axel making her Queen then have PM Manus sounds like a setup for the most epic divorce battle in Merkopian history
What is the absolute maximum hurt I can give to Lespia? Buying PalStream rights and cutting them out of nationalized Morellan shares is obvious, but I imagine I have to give up on getting Rusty, since revealing everything is more painful to their reputation?
>>1743987How is it hard? It obviously is saved already somewhere in the main campaign save, so it stands to reason that it would be easy to just copy the variable for used composites.
>>1744214You can save edit to have your cake and eat it.There's a variable that goes something like rusty_knownlespianagent and if you set that to true, you'll be able to reveal the evidence and arrest Rusty, removing their most important spy in Rizia AND pin the blame on them for the Friendship Day bombing.
>>1744221Because they likely coded it to have one image, in a bubble. No overlap. Nice and neat. And the chat bubbles are not actually the character portraits you see, they are smaller images. So they would have to recode the entire thing to allow overlapping images, downsize all the assets, and painfully load them all in a precise order, in precise locations, and hope nothing bugs out, and Anton's mustache or hair flies off somewhere.>just make a portrait for every single Anton variationFuck off.>just edit it screen capture and image editing featuresFuck. >>1744724allowing overlapping images is as easy as drawing/calling a png on a png. They do it in customizer, they should be able to do it in game by packing many calls into a selector functior, unless their image caller is seriously fucked. If they can't even do that, they should just generate a special image for the save.
>>1745715Here's the thing - the customizer images don't move.
>>1745639WE need to fuck the commie woman.
>>1745293From what I've seen then the things that impact Rizia are the way do deal with Gasom, whether or not you make a deal with Wehlen and your energy prices at the end of the game. For the best import save you should allow Rizia to invest into Gasom, raise the EPA threshold and make sure Gasom doesn't go bankrupt. You shouldn't trade with Wehlen so they will be more desperate to trade with Rizia and also you shouldn't end the game with balanced energy prices because that causes you to lose money as Rizia. The global trade war is also a positive for Rizia, if you're willing to fuck up Sordland that much.
>>1745982>raise the EPA thresholdAbolishing it gives more benefits
Ok finished my first run, was decent overall, Vina is actually a good heir I really liked her, understood why I married her off to the Duke of Pales (reannexing them) and I managed to please religious people, nobles AND reformers, got couped by Lucita cause she's mentally retarded, her investigation didn't even do anything.Having said that, what's the fastest way to get Zille back?
>>1746153No, it doesn't. You damage Economic Development and public opinion, you dumbass.
>>1746380>got couped by Lucita cause she's mentally retarded, her investigation didn't even do anything.Did you tell her to investigate Pales? Did you piss off Azaros?
>>1746520I think he means for how much money you get as Rizia. I'd still argue against it since Rizia gives you so much shit to sell to expand your budget anyway there's no real reason to fuck over your Sordland game to get a bit more.
>>1746679To be honest, that's kind of fucked up to be rewarded for torpedoing Sordland.>Eco Dev. -4 from trade war>Eco Dev. -3 from full EPA repealThe bonds make sense.
Almost every guide has you increasing corporate taxes to a fucking 45%. That's African failed state tier. Do only latrinos play this game, or people just ignore the descriptions?

>>1746939>The tax rate leveled at about 52 to 53 percent through most of the 1950s and 1960s, then fell in steps to 35 percent. You were saying?

>>1746955I know this is now an unknown concept to Americans, but there is such a thing as "domestic industry".

>>1746961>laws against capital flightDoesn't stop the Lotherberg Group.

And weren't a cuck to capitalist swine?>>1746970I've been using the guides on neoseeker.>fully deregulate the energy market>more energy sources will save us!That's like expecting that adding more lanes will solve traffic. I doubt I even need to check. These aren't those kinds of devs. Also, privatizing drops the quality of healthcare/education, so if you didn't boost funding to them - whoops.
>>1746977I did nationalise them. They still pulled off capital flight, somehow.
>>1746979Did you do Anti-Corruption/State Secret Police?
>>1746981The ACP were busy at work dealing with the Old Guard.
>>1746979You need to arrest them with the SSP to avoid that.
>>1746972It does if you fund the people (secret police) who enforce the law.
>>1746983Oh, right, I usually take the Koronti deal, and nationalize just Tusk. So you just made friends with the new leader of Oligarchs. Even if you are a communist dictator, which is strange.
>>1746977>privatizing drops the quality of healthcare/educationWhen I funded them as far as I remember there is only a yellow quality gap for both and from the way its phrased its not that state services are worse. its that private care is superior and therefore reduces equality compared to those who rely on state services. As for energy I didnt sell my shares so I technically maintain the largest single stake in the company and took the shit deal with l*spia to further boost economy. Also fully privatized both companies but did not do insider trading and arrested both oligarchs with acp so I imagine the state effectively seized control over all their shares and effectively has state control over all big enterprises in the country even if its not necessarily absolute. Sadly ending slide does not really account for oligarchs being arrested when factoring in economy ownership.
>>1746990Yeah privatising is fine as long as you fund welfare and don't use it to save money. Private schools and clinics will be superior but they'll have to compete with an option that's literally free.Privatising is perfect for Rizia although for different reasons. The administrative costs modifier seems to be related to the quality of live situation. The better it is the more you pay. Ideally you keep it low in the beginning to save money and only increase it at the end of the game. Privatising lowers quality of life so on top of giving you budget it also increases your budget per turn by stopping administrative costs from increasing. It should be one of the first decrees you pass.
>>1747017>you want to lower quality of life on purposemy romus would neverhe might be a racist asshole who used the deals with wehlen to set up an exclusionary anti bludish and derdian immigration policy but he would not mistreat ethnic rizians on purpose
>>1747020People tend to be... forgetful.
Virgin baizuos nationalizing both megacorps in a stupid act of youthful Malenyavist maximalism. The real smart option is backing VoS and becoming buddy-buddy with Marcel, who then backs up your socialist platform no questions asked if you leave him alone.
>>1747061I don't care, Marcel. I played you like a fiddle. The Sordish Supreme Radio and Television Council will do a better job than you ever did.
>>1747068Exactly, besides Marcel is involved with some gang. Sordland is better off without him and Tusk.
>>1746990>>1747017I think what Suzerain needs is an epilogue set about 50 years post presidency with a description of how you're actions are viewed down the line. Because yeah as it stands now in the game if you want to min-max benefits privatisation has very few negatives (the only one I can actually think of is it pisses Gloria off) and a lot of bonuses so unless you're playing a nationalisation rout there's no real reason not to do it. But if say decades down the line Raynes is viewed more negatively as the guy that introduced 2 tier healthcare and private Golcondist schools that would at least add more context to your actions.
>>1747115You'll be playing that epilogue from another nation viewpoint in the next-next DLC :P
>>1747127Playing not!Robert Mugabe in 1980s not!Africa might actually be kind of fun. Obviously funny guy is the only returning character since they all suck his dick over there apparently.

>>1746521>>1746380She needs to investigate Pales, but it doesn't work if you got to war with them.
>>1746983unless you have a huge desire to jail graf (you cuck her utterly in any run you're not already allied with her and not losing, so lets be honest she could wait till the next term) the "best" way to use the ACP is to direct at old guard at first then pivot to industrialists in the 2nd portion to jail tusk and koronti, you get the benefits in the constitution debate (it's an outright requirement if you're trying to reform article 6+7 in a run) and avoid capital flight

>>1747768Achievement runs, mostly.
>>1747768I never said that I did that, I just formed ACP for shits and giggles and because I wanted to get kicked out of USP to join NFP, I also wanted Solstron to be president and in my mind I could use ACP to get rid of Kibener. That was the first and last time I gave that bitch Ciara a single penny
>>1747751Do you need to purge the military? I think so long as you don't publically call Malenyev "comarade" and don't join not!WPO you're fine.
>>1747806No, no you don't. I wish they would change that, as well change the decree and law system to be more like Rizia's. Budget per turn, too. You get bills handed to you to pass taxes, if you're low, or spend money, if you have them. Just get political capital stat, and send bills through the assembly, or sign them directly for more cost. Decrees are just gated, even though lore-wise you have access to them from the start. And above all, I wish I could build everything. EVERYTHING. A manipulator path, where I set the Old Guard against the Oligarchs, and the Oligarchs against the Old Guard. And Underhall mysteriously winds up nationalized, along with Gasom. And ACP bring in the dosh, while Bergia Steel and HoS are basically nationalized for free.
>>1747730>it's an outright requirement if you're trying to reform article 6+7 in a runYou can pass 6 and 7 without it it without it. Granted I had to follow a guide, eat the salad, and do a shit tonne of political horsetrading to manage it
Gonna do Sordland again. Few questions so I don't fuck it up:1) Is there any benefit to not taking Koronti's deal, so long as you either don't touch him or nationalize him fully? I think I heard your fixer can leak that shit if you pass him up on VP and it prevents you from investingating the oligarchs, but is that it? Also is it still possible to pass a super-reformist constitution without VoS boosting you? 2) Remond me, what are the main things that boost success in war outside of allies? I think its airforce for Iosif plan, and also letting Iosif keep the local police under army control? Also I think there was something about up/down scaling the army reserve and it helps Iosif plan if you downscale? 3) Is it possible to do a more socdem privatization? For once I'd like a run where all my economy advisors don't resign at the end, but it always seems like its an either-or between shock therapy or just keeping chill with state owned schools and hospitals.
>>1747851I wish you could build multiple infrastructure options if you have the funds. it would probably be too much of a pain to remake the campaign a 3rd time (also cant make more money by selling it as dlc)
>>1748146>Mr President, upgrading every branch of the Sordish military would be monstrously expensive. How can we justify this?>adjusts tie>YOU: "Fuck Rumburg."
Is this game flexible enough to go Nationalist Communist without going fullblown Nazbol?
>>1748242I think so? Sordland starts out as highly nationalist and you can easily maintain that. Economics is separate decision from legislature and all you need to do is maintain the old planned economic model and maybe go further left on some options. Reformists don't care too much about nationalism, just democratic reforms, meanwhile Old Guard cares more about previous Caudillo's legacy more than communism, so you can easily pick one or the other depending on your taste in legislative freedoms and you won't need to work with the mask-off chuds of the far right party. Only issue is if you want to join the notWPO, that might be a bit hard to balance.
>>1748146I would happily buy a +2 turns DLC for a rebalanced campaign + war minigame DLC. Not going to lie.>secret communist path>if you did the trade deal, but not recognition or alliance>built the H-3, and kept immigration relaxed (or expanded quotas for Agnolian job seekers), and just was nice to Agnolia>didn't actively join Valgsland's invasion>managed to get Rumburg sanctioned and yourself in CPS>Rumburg will partially demobilize, but will menace Agnolia, instead>because the Queen is a retard and needs a win>since they are now alone, and Lespia are shitters>and if you were nice, they ask you for help>in exchange for dragging them to the CPS>you can only use a small portion of your army to intervene in their war>you can successfully help them defend, with your base forces>but if you modernized the army, you can go on the offensive, and help Agnolia reclaim Dome>and with that United Contana claims another>and since you have to purge the general staff to join CPS, you have to command the operation yourself
They could always do a third rerelease by rolling it in together with a 2nd term DLC

I am willing to bet my ass that the next DLC will be Galmland with you trying to balance the knifes edge of doing your own brand of socialism while trying to doge Valg and Contanan attempts to curb your ideological independence and Arcasia trying to bribe / coup you. Basically a Dubček experiance where you attempt to not get Prague'd.
>>1748386Of course, but a man can dream.DLC-wise, the devs are going BACK in time, so this will be even before Rizia. Which means there is a good chance you will start in the century of revolutions, and your entire early game will be nothing but (guerilla) war, trying to consolidate control over your Falklands-looking ass not-Nordic country. Maybe you will get to meet Ulbricht. I mean, Ulbrik.Midgame would be trying to piece the country back together, NEP to appease the petty booj, and building stuff. With ideological conflict coming up in the late game. Market Socialism? Goulash communism? Who knows.
>>1743735Based
I would love a Fallout game in the style of Suzerain, playing as House manipulating factions behind the scenes while trying to keep New Vegas stable...
Is this a sequel or dlc?
>>17481191)taking koronti's deal means you can't use the ACP to investigate koronti/tusk, because they'll uncover your deal and it'll fuck you over. you can still fuck them over if you pick secret police and nationalize, but that also prevents you from touching the old guard. lucian will leak that and other corrupt dealings (including getting your son into holsord for some reason, but not any other uni) if you piss him off, but honestly if you beat him at chess, are genuinely nice to him, and don't let gloria/alvin boss him around he should still stick with you so long as you remain part of the USP. though even if you lose the primary so long as he supported you he wont leak your deals regardless2)having a good economy is always a big help. for iosif investing in your airforce is a must if you're not allying with lespia, whose air force is powerful. and yeah you want to follow all iosefs advice up to the war itself3)my advisors didn't complain with me keeping education and health fully state owned, keeping SSC fully state owned but I privatized the other company, you might even be able to not fully privatize the other one but I haven't tried it. they however don't like you trying to nationalize the other two companies but with the ACP getting tusk and koronti arrested you're already breaking the oligarchy's back
>>1748119>Also is it still possible to pass a super-reformist constitution without VoS boosting you? I was able to, you offset some of Koronti's bullshit by having the ACP on the old guard so they can't meddle with the process as much. you'll have to choose between 3% threshold and blud autonomous zone/article 6+7 change unless you're willing to fully repeal the EPA though.I went mostly privatization but tried to be codial to the oligarchs without taking their dealsI will say the run required a lot of very specific choices in how you replied to people to work. the supreme court judge in particular I had to rely outright on a guide to not fuck it up because like one wrong response choice and you're fucked. you also have to metagame when it comes to bergia and abolishing the special area if you're changing article 6+7. you actually have to pick nia semi autonomous zone in the original choice between nia and graf's plans, then you can use it as one of your concessions to gloria while also potentially abolishing the zone outright like graf wanted (which gloria also likes)
>>1748848Yes.
>>1748848dlc
>>1748848DLC for the main campaign that adds new content and a main campaign sized sequel after it.
I feel like Article 6/7 is a bit of a failed addition to the game. Ultimately, I don't see why you would ever try to mess with it. You can already fix Bludish rights easier with other decisions, meanwhile this one only makes you add more constitution concessions and pain for getting SC votes. Oh no, evil governor stays what ever shall you do? Oh right you just abolish the special zone a few months later. Tying it to the constitutional amendment was a mistake. That shit is already a fucking nightmare to maneuver through. Instead it should have been some new event chain AFTER the constitutional change and before the scandal where you deal with the Bluds more in-depth.
I haven't played the game for some time since the update, but is it possible to use the article 6/7 thing to force Nia into voting for your constitution reform?
>>1749207Yeah, that's kind of the point. The roleplay point.>>1749218newp
>>1749207I assume its there for people that want to play as hardcore liberal for whatever reason. But yeah the Bluds love you if you just generally treat them like humans and don't actively try to genocide them... Don't pickup the red candle though.
>>1749226>newpcrazy, why the devs don't let you get what you want and corrupt Nia is beyond me. Breaking Nia would be kino.
Making peaceful reunification with Pales possible was a really bad game design decision. Pales was supposed to be a lost cause, but you can get it back with absolutely no effort, the only sacrifice is forcing your daughter into a loveless marriage which you may or may not care about. The only upsides of the war path I've discovered are the possibility the get the Romus the Great nickname and the possibility the get all three religious groups happy by advertising it as a holy war.
>>1749388>loveless marriagewtf are you talking about? They both fall for each other once they meet. Vina forgets all about Manus once the prince sweeps her off her feet.
>>1749230>Don't pickup the red candle though. Why? I always do it and don't get any issues
>>1749390She explicitly tells you she doesn't love him. She just doesn't hate him either, and that part is also a big fucking cop-out from the devs. You're essentially pimping her out, but you don't feel bad about it, because the guy is a young chad. The duke should've been an ugly evil piece of shit like the original duke, Njolma. Narratively Axel was an awful nonsensical choice.
>>1749322This is a political game, not a porn one, coomer.
>>1749438By breaking, I'm talking about making Nia work with me on a constitution that is out of line with her views in order to ensure the best outcome for Bluds, not fucking her. Also:>This is a political game, not a porn oneSo the door stopper Smolak gives you can't be used on Lucita?
>>1749465>So the door stopper Smolak gives you can't be used on Lucita?Obviously its for Pabel
>>1749402Really? Last time I went red after the worst thing I think I did was sealing the border for bear trap I got yelled at on the march.
>>1749516Ah, I see. I reject OBT to get better foreign reputation and be able to impose sanctions on Rumburg. However I do think I did accept border turn-around before the new version and it was fine.
>>1749230Honestly, I think 6/7 fucks the Bluds over more than just disolving special zone. Ultimately, its just a legal definition, but they rat out and sacrifice the BFF to get it, splintering their own people, when you can easily reconcile with the BFF.
>>1749407She explicitly tells you she doesn't love himShe loved him in my playthrough. Maybe try being a better father.

>>1740385I bought this blind a few weeks ago and was a bit disappointed that it feels like a VN. Does it get more interactive like a paradox game?
>>1752042The DLC has an actual war minigame, with tabletop pieces and everything.Otherwise, it's a fun political VN, where you gaslight everyone.
I don't like this new update. Looking at the code, it seems like they made getting Romus the Great way easier. You don't need to have great living standards or overwhelming military power or to win the war. It's a freebie.
Imagine how dumbstruck Arcasian leadership would be if you win the war together with Valgsland. Lespia tried so hard to fuck over Morella so it would't become a Malenyevist outpost, just for Beatrice's retardation combined with Iosif's tactics to single-handedly delivered the entirety of Rumburg into CSP's hands in a matter of weeks.
Why does Titus straight up just frame Lucita?
>>1752283Combine that with the ways you can fuck Lespia over in Rizia and drunk president would probably be in for a lynching by 1959
>>1752377The drunk fucked himself hard with the oil. Loosing the field rights would be not good, but not terrible... unless you already invested massively in processing facilities for oil that you don't yet have.
>>1752382It's natural gas.

My Rayne is a radical centrist - for every WPB/BFP freedom fighter released, a Young Sord/Red Youth terrorist or Old Guard traitor takes their place.
>>1752042stop thinking about it as a grand strategy game, it's a political cyoa novel. it has nice points about what drives internal policy in a country, like what if you are a centrist politician barely scraping by in the polls but your dimwit wife wants to you to commit political suicide at a film festival to talk about womens rights, do you make her happy by letting her do it?
>>1752839Unfortunate for him, since I want her mountains.
>>1754758Also - salad.
Is the 8.0 update shit?
>>1758564Yes. It introduced new bugs and nerfed Rizia's starting resources even more.
>>1758676>new bugs ...>and nerfed Rizia's starting resources even moreWhat is wrong with these fucking devs, is this country supposed to be wealthy or not?
>>1758872Devs are really opposed to the players of a rich nation having resources and money to spend for some reason, should have just labled Rizia a poor shithole.
>>1759230You'd think the difficulty and the amount of resources needed to fend off/piss off Pales, Lespia, Wehlen, and Morella would balance things out, but apparently not.
>>1758564Seriously? I was hoping that it'd have been finally fixed...i've been waiting since it started to get a playable version without game-ruining bugs.
>>1759779Half the events and modifiers are bugged right now. They should focus on that instead of balancing everything.
>>1758872>is this country supposed to be wealthy or not?starting to wonder about this myself, I enjoyed the earlier version when you had money, resources, and the power to do what you wanted and your success was basically in your ability to think about how or when to deal with problems, really made you feel like a king. It seems the devs think a struggling country that is nominally rich is the proper description for Rizia.
>built all the factory>stockpiling like a jew>modifier stay the same>military projection stuck at -2pls help... :(((((
>>1740736Rumburg winning is the canon ending, anything else is cringy Sord power-fantasies.
>>1762051nobody said this prior to 2022i wonder what changedcould it be that there's some race of hapa mutts that's butthurt that they couldn't win a war against a much smaller country IRL?
>>1762053A Sordland that lost Estord, Narbel, most of Agnland, half of its population, most of its industry, and is on life support by Arcasia for more than two years is not winning.
>>1762013Low number of units, low number of special units, getting rid of levies, low stockpile, manpower contributes negatively to power projection. Passing conscription laws lowers it, too.
>>1762074Where the fuck are you dragging these figures and borders from? You can follow Iosefs strategy, not tabs superpower aid and still only lose a city the game says was already evacuated and proceed a rapid curbstomp war in a month.
>>1762086it's a ukraine comparison, you retardyou're arguing with a zigger
>>1762088Oh that. I stopped paying attention about 8 months ago when the middle East decided they could try and start ww3 quicker. Isn't Rumburg more an inter-war Bulgaria expy though?
>>1762114Rumburg is absolutely a Russia expy. It's fucking huge, geographically speaking, it fields totally not AK47s as its standard infantry weapon, it's known for having absolutely fucking terrible winters which can fuck Sordland over, and so on and so forth.
>>1762114As with most nations in Suzerian, it's not just one nation. Rumburg is a russia expy fused with england, thus having a Queen with the surname of 'Livingston' and cities like 'Thornborough'Just like how Sordland is an expy of Turkey, but with a German-like culture.
>>1762114Only according to TVtropes, comparing Queen Livingston to Ferdinand I in terms of ambition and being a retard diplomatically.
Just finished my first game. I got the Constitution amended, stabilized the economy, established the Bluds as a semi-autonomous State, expanded healthcare to the rural population, made peace with Rumsburg, and completed two major infrastructure projects - then I lost the election and was ousted from politics. I was remembered as a lame duck Centrist. Ungrateful shits, Soll was right all along.
>>1762289>made peace with Rumsburg????Did you actually pay reparations?
>>1762298Fuck off Iosef, we couldn't be at war with Valgsland AND Rumsburg. HISTORY WILL REMEMBER ME AS GREAT. THE QUEEN IS HELPING ME FIND MY DESTINY.
>>1762298>Me when I have to spend 1 budget on a trade deal with random shithole :)>Me when I have to spend 2 budget on a trade deal with a major superpower:(
>>1762084the game is bugged as shit.I tried to edit the number and the modivier stayed the same
good luck in the front line franc!better dead than having a bl*d mutt
>>1747115The biopic they are going to make about Tony will be a smash hit.
>>1762399>can't cheat.must be a bug!You have to exit the game, edit the save and THEN load back in, and load the autosave specifically, newfag.
>>1748403>>1748386We got a republic and we got a monarchy. My guess is the next DLC could be a theocracy.Either you are some kid who became a Lama because you picked up your favourite toy and now have to carry out decisions and rituals whose concept you are barely able to grasp due to your early age or a Grand Master from a military-religious order (Malta if it was still ruled by the Hospitallers), the last knight-monk who has to maintain quaint chivalry in a rapidly changing world.
>>1762320>Rumburg>major superpooperlollmao
>>1762886Rizia can already become a theocracy. Devs wouldn't tease>Galmland>in ideological conflict with Valgsland Socialists AND Malenyevists>Galmland Manifestoif it wasn't coming next. Same as Rizia showing up in the Sordland campaign before. And I swer 2 Marx, it better be Market Socialism, and not some shitty revisionism, or *gag* Social Democracy.
>>1747115This is my problem too. The game sets up all of these interesting situations with potentially far-reaching consequences, and you get to make decisions about them, but then the game just ends. Excepting CRASHING THIS COUNTRY WITH NO SURVIVORS scenarios, you're left with no real idea of how most of that played out. The only thing that matters for epilogue purposes is how much your family loves you and if you managed to gaslight the public into liking you.
>>1762086Not canon.Retard devs wrote an unrealistic Sord power fantasy ending but in a realistic scenario Rumburg would win every time.
>>1762897>Market SocialismEither it's this or Maximism, which was also teased in a newspaper article. Are you ready to handle the hexacameral Federal Assembly that Yugoslavia used to have though?also iirc Galmland leader is female.
>>1762051>>1762074>>1762903git gud
>>1762910get good at what you stupid niggerthe writers should get good
>>1762913just because you suck at this game and never won against Rumburg doesn't mean it's canon.I know hurt pride and all, but seriously, git gud.
>>1762916Dumb hohol pig.
>>1762917>muh writersyeah yeah, it's everyone else's fault. And also the mouse stopped working at the most critical moment while you also had a lag. It's not the games fault you are so shit.We live in a world where rice farmers can defeat the supposedly most powerful country, a feat that was repeated by a bunch of towelheads. I know according to you reality is unrealistic.
>>1762921It is very easy to win with Sordland in this game. But it should not be possible at all.Writers are stupid women who do not understand running a country.
>>1762907>Are you ready to handle the hexacameral Federal Assembly that Yugoslavia used to have though? No. I don't think anybody here could handle the Milosevic experience.Just let it be a former part of the not-British Empire, where the revolution succeeded, and you have to spend first half of the scenario in an insurgency, and then just fixing up the country. Like post-WW2 Malaya, or Vietnam.
>>1762922that cope, lmaoAfter you have made it repeatedly clear that you have never defeated Rumburg, why lie about it all of a sudden? Also Beatrice is a woman too, you simp ass nigger. You guys are fucking unbelievable.
>>1762925in that case Valgsland looks more like the not-Portuguese Empire, who released their colonies after revolutionaries ended their Estado Novo.
>>1762967I have no idea what you're talking about.I won war every playthrough which is extremely retarded.
>>1762970You can lose the war pretty easily even if you fund the military and follow Iosef, if you take no allies and give the Gendarmie to the Interior. I'd recommend this because the final stand with Iosef is kino.
>>1762976Just make sure you get yourself killed
>>1762897I think Galmland is implied to be a mix of Albania and Yugoslavia - more liberal in terms of economics but also more isolationist and probably with weird national quirks. Anyway, I wonder how it will justify you not just instantly alligning with Hegel if you are more liberal-minded and dropping the isolationist part.
>>1762989Obviously.>oh no the enemy soldier looks like my sonMy son is fucking dead and my last act as President is to make sure a few more Rumsburg dogs follow him to Hell.
>>1763005Could be that Hegel will get the Alvarez treatment. Needlessly antagonistic towards you, even if you play as a full blown capitalist with the desire to join ATO.

>>1763149What do you mean? Trying to be a hardline gommunist in Sordland will fuck over you and your entire country.
>>1763152OI! *clap, clap*We're talking about a potential future Galmland DLC.
>>1763155>>these devs>>disparaging communists
>>1763158Wait, hold on, you weren't talking about spilling your revolutionary spaghetti in front of the salad woman and Iosef? It is completely viable to have a great economy, while engaging in nationalizations and higher taxes.
>>1763162No, I only spill my spaghetti on national television and in important trade meetings, thank you very much. >It is completely viable to have a great economy, while engaging in nationalizations and higher taxes.Sure, but you can't successfully go full Stalin, in the same way you can't succesfully go full Hitler. You end up as a Mao or a Hussein at best. It is, however, fully worth torpedoing the country just to see the look on Tusk and Marcel's faces when you destroy them both completely unexpectedly.
>>1763169If you go the Anti-Corruption Police route, and point is straight at the Oligarchs and nationalize both (no Koronti deal), while passing a dictatorial constitution, you dump the old Guard judges, purge the Old guard military, de-sollinize and release communist and bludish political prisoners. Then, you keep your promise to Albin and make him your VP, so when Lileas challenges you for leadership, you lose and go join the Popular Front, supporting the communist or the blud, winning the next election for them, and burning down the big tent big shit that is the USP. Ending the grip of sollists on the country forever. Fuck changing their manifesto, who the fuck wants to be in a party with Gloria and fucking Albin?
>>1763180Well, I guess you're right. I kneel. Anyway, I'm gonna go bang a waitress with Petr. Hope this doesn't cause any ramifications for my presidential office.
>>1762922>it should not be possible at allIt should not be possible the way it is in the game. You beat the Rumburg army in 2 hours, capture their capital and finish it before the elections. That's not how wars work. The game entirely falls apart there. Either make it impossible to win or make a proper war system. This thirdie power fantasy shit is the worst.
>>1763233I'm pretty sure the entire point is that Beatrice is a clown, this world somehow avoided a WW2-tier wake up call regarding frontal assaults with infantry, and Rumburg got shafted with a Napoleon 3rd situation.
>>1762903>>1762922>>1763233The main problem is that the devs fell for the "professional army" meme that doesn't work in real life. Realistically Iosef would be the retarded option that could win only if you get all provinces green and get allies while Valken plan should be the most effective path
>>1763257Iosef's plan doesn't work without allies. Valken's plan does.
