However with Kento's six previous Triple Crown runs he is established second only to Suwama among active AJPW workers. Kawada's 500+ day title reign was the second longest in the history of AJPW when it completed and he had tied Misawa for total number of times he had held the Triple Crown. In a lot of ways putting the belt on him at that time signaled to the fans that, although the promotion was changing to adapt to the changes in the world, it would retain a link to the AJPW of yesteryear and continue to honor the spirit of Baba. Using Miyahara as the link to connect this New Generation to the Puroresu Love era, and through that a link to the Baba era would preserve the continuity of AJPWThank you for coming to my Ted Talk
