I posted about this on /d/ but I'll post the more /u/-relevant bits here:I've been reading through the Majo no Tabitabi books, and volume 9 has two chapters where the characters visit a cottage inhabited by a race of tiny women who try to attack the giants with cookies and sweets. Elaina captures one of the tiny girls and tickles her and gets really into it, which disturbs Fran a little bit. In the second chapter, Linaria and Alte go to the same cottage expecting to get sweets, but Alte drinks a potion left out on a table that shrinks her to the size of the tiny women. Linaria runs away to get help, and Alte gets captured by Priscilla, who is normal-sized. Priscilla is the boss of the tiny women, and they worship her, with several of the tiny women saying that they want to marry Priscilla (how the marriage would be consummated is left up the to the reader's imagination). Alte has to climb up Priscilla's sleeping body to get the growth potion, which she does just as Linaria breaks in to rescue her. Considering how wet Linaria is for Alte, it would've been nice if Alte was still tiny when Linaria rescued her. Just imagine what Saya would do to Elaina if she got her hands on Priscilla's shrinking potion.

Marathoned this, was really cute. Sora coming from a broken household and that whole backstory made her character really believable and made her attachment to Ayaka that much more adorable. Pretty much perfect ending as well Are there any other yuri series that pull off the broken household backstory as well as this? As in, it has the drama but it doesn't lean into it so hard that they story's not cute or funny anymore.
