I am not saying this is a fighting game in any capacity but it is a "competitive game" I guess. I think Shinobi striker is genuinely a fun and defensible game at this point, even though I thought it was dogshit for most of it's existence. It didn't have nearly enough content at launch, but at this point, if you are willing to buy the dlcs you care about, it has a lot of content and is fun to play. You can make some pretty unique and fun builds in the current state of the game, and summon animals are on the way (right now it's just dogs, but there will be other ones)

I'm halfway (I think) through Nocturne and am slowly realizing that V was so underwhelming storywise is not because it was unfinished or rushed, but because it was inspired by this game from top-to-bottom.
